The ranks of consumer healthcare companies have been changing quickly. It's not totally clear to me how many organizations exist right now. In order to help understand, I've been compiling a list of all consumer healthcare companies I can find.
In order to be in this list, companies must fit this criteria:
- Deliver healthcare themselves. This means they must employ or contract with clinical staff.
- Be available on the 'open market'. Services only offered through some employers and healthplans aren't included
